One of the SEO tips and mistakes most often forgotten by bloggers
beginners is to register a blog, website or website that they have to Feedburner Google.
What is Google Feedburner? How to make and install it?
FeedBurner is a web feed management service, consisting of RSS feeds and management tools for bloggers and podcasters, and other web-based publishing applications. The service provides an analysis of site visitor traffic and a selectable advertising system.
FeedBurner has many features behind its easy way of registering, for example checking feed optimization statistics. But why it is better to use FeedBurner compared to the default blog feed is because FeedBurner is more suitable for:
- Publish content and make it easier for others to subscribe;
- Optimized feed distribution as the format is more compatible for all types of subscriber software;
- Users can analyze the traffic that subscribes to the feed, such as seeing the number of subscribers, where they are from and what they like.
The source is on Wikipedia, please check here: Feedburner Wikipedia.
If I may explain, this Feedburner will take each of the latest content that you publish, they store it and then channel it to the emails that have been registered.
Furthermore, readers no longer need to enter (visit) to your site because in the email the article is very complete.
However, you can set this configuration, where only the first paragraph you send to the reader’s email, then they must visit your site if they want to read the article thoroughly.
In a nutshell, you’re trawling and building a Reader subscription , — just register the email they have on Google Feedburner from the site you have, then they will get the latest articles based on when the article was published. Today you publish, then in a few minutes later the article will go to their email.
Always remember, you can set this configuration, where only the first paragraph you send to the reader’s email, then they must visit your site if they want to read the article thoroughly.
Why? This is one way to ensure that your blog traffic is not lost.
If the article submitted Feedburner Google in a state Full Contentwhat about your site traffic? It must have fallen. Makes sense, right?
How to list Google Feedburner IDs subscribe to Articles
In the first step, log in to the official website: Feedburner Google.
Next, decide if you want to use Atom, RSS feed or Atom Blog.
The list of options is given as follows:
- Google Blog – Atom: https://googleblogengine.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
- Google Blog – RSS: https://googleblogengine.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
- Google Blog – Atom: http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8096390238586332004/posts/default
My advice is to use Atom in the first option above. To be honest, I don’t know what the difference is between Atom, RSS and Atom Blogger.
Based on online literature alias Googling, all the leading SEO sites in the world recommend using Atom in the first option above.
Next, adjust Feed to Title Tag and Feed Address from the Google Feedburner used.
Feed Title means the name of the site that has been registered, while the Feed Address is the ID of your site Feedburner.
If you have just passed this step, you will see the text, “Congrats! Your FeedBurner feed is now live. Want to dress it up a little?”
Please ignore the message, tap the Skip directly to feed management menu option, — never / not Next.
- Tap on menu My Feeds
- Select one of the sites or sites you just registered with Google Feedburner
- Tap Edit Feed Details...
See the picture below:
Well here’s the Google Feedburner you just created, — in accordance with the steps above for sure 🙂
Note: The site I registered is https://googleblogengine.blogspot.com/. Google Feedburner is used googleblogengine.
That’s how to create a Google FeedBurner Username or ID for blogspot (Blogger).
How to limit RSS feeds submitted
You could say, this is how setting or configuring RSS feeds as it should be, according to what is said by expert bloggers around the world.
Limit RSS feeds from your site, so that article subscribers want to open the site; because if you set the RSS Feed as a whole (full article) to the customer’s email, of course they will not want to enter your site again.
- Login to Blogger
- Tap Setting, then tap menu Other
- Next, find the Sub-Menu titled Site Feed
- Change to Custom, setting Blog Posts Feed be Short, Blog Comment Feed be Short, and Per Post Comment Feeds be Short
- Save Blogger Settings
Congratulations! You have just completed how to register a Google Feedburner ID to subscribe to articles and how to set the correct Google Feedburner.
